Calls for Abstracts

The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for conference papers and will proceed to the selection of papers to be presented at the Conference. Abstracts submission until September 30, 2025. The papers should focus on one (or more) of the following themes:
  • Analysis of road safety data
  • Data-driven road safety strategies
  • Assessment of road safety measures
  • Artificial Intelligence and road safety
  • Serious road traffic injuries
  • Management of road safety data
  • Crash causation and risk factors
  • Vulnerable road users
  • New mobility and road safety
  • Local and regional road safety observatories and data collection
  • Road safety performance indicators and surrogate road safety measures
  • New methods in data collection
  • Data collection and sources from organisations and actors
  • Road safety and gender equality
  • Socioeconomic inequalities in road traffic injuries
  • Impact of international recommendations for national data collection systems
  • Understanding the impact of climate change on road safety
  • Big data and road safety analytics

Important Dates

We welcome all submissions presenting original research that has neither been published nor previously presented at other Conferences. Submissions will be completed in two phases (initially abstracts and subsequently presentations):
  • 30 September 2025Abstract submission

    Abstracts should be between 150 and 300 words and must be written in English
  • 30 November 2025Notification of acceptance

    The Scientific Committee will review and select the abstracts. Authors will receive a notification of acceptance for their abstract
  • 28 February 2026Presentation submission

    Accepted papers will be included in the Conference programme as oral or poster presentations
