KFV has published at the
European Road Safety Observatory, the
Urban Areas Facts and Figures Report which refers to public roads inside urban boundary signs. According to this Report, the
, which is similar to the 21% decrease on other roads (rural roads and motorways). Furthermore, vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, mopeds, motorcycles) make up 68% of fatalities on urban roads, while pedestrians are involved in 33% of all fatalities.
