Establishment of Road Safety Govermental Committee, April 2021

According to the new Act of the Council of Ministers (Government Gazette A 70 / 27.04.2021), a Governmental Committee for the promotion of Road Safety was established, which consists of the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport (Chairman), the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection (Vice-Chairman), the Deputy Minister of Health, the Deputy Minister of Interior, the Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance. The Governmental Committee is responsible for the formulation and approval of the road safety national strategy, the supervision of the individual actions' implementation and the evaluation of the National Strategic Road Safety Plan. The committee meets at least twice a year.
