Xifaras – Progress Presentation of the ESPA Programme “Transport”, November 2022

During the 1st Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the ESPA Programme “Transport” on 24 November 2022, the General Secretary of Transport, Mr. Yannis Xifaras presented the progress of the programme to the European Commission's General Directorate for Regional Policy and Urban Development (DG Regio). The General Secretary of Transport focused on the Road Safety Action Plan and the National Road Safety Strategic Plan for 2021-2030 , developed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, provisioning for 44 actions and 200 road safety measures. The National Strategic Plan received very positive reviews from the representatives of the European Commission.
