Collaborative Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), which enable the exchange of information between vehicles and road infrastructure, are crucial for the development of Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM). The project aims to comprehensively assess the impact of CCAM as well as the multifaceted effects of integrating advanced technologies and communication systems into transportation. This research endeavor delves into the safety, efficiency, environmental, economic and societal consequences of CCAM. The outcomes of this project will include a set of validated methods to assess the future impacts of existing and new systems of automated and connected traffic and mobility.
