The awards received concerned Best Mobile Customer Experience and Best Organisation for ESG Factors & Practices in Customer Service for the development of the SmartMaps Digital Platform. The SmartMaps Platform combines data from mobile phone sensors and through machine learning algorithms enables users to select safer and more environmentally friendly routes, while improving overall traffic efficiency. These distinctions highlight the value of applying innovative digital solutions to address key social and environmental challenges and reflect the impact of collaboration between academia and industry in delivering customer-centric and sustainable services.
