The Horizon Europe research project IMPROVA (Injury Mitigation to Promote Vision-Zero Achievement) has recently released its 4th Newsletter, focusing on enhancing road safety by addressing the complexities of long-term consequences (LTC) caused by road traffic crashes. This version of the Newsletter mainly focuses on the three IMPROVA papers published in Traffic Injury Prevention, as well as the Project’s presence on the upcoming IRCOBI 2026 Conference in Munich. Furthermore, IMPROVA is updating the Functional Capacity Index (FCI), a long-standing reference tool in trauma research and road safety, to better reflect modern injury patterns and clinical insight. Participation to the survey is available here. link
