The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) has written a letter that was published in the edition of the Financial Times, titled: Lower speed limits are a triple win for reducing dependence on Russian oil, emissions and road injury. According to the letter, a measure that could cut oil imports in the EU in the short term is to reduce speed limits across the bloc.
